German  pre WW2 Schutzpolizei - Preussen - Weimar Republic - shoulder board

From what we understand these were used from 1928 to at least the mid 30's.

Used by the Prussian Schutzpolizei. As you can from the attached photo from the election 1933 they worked together SS(Early SS on the picture) and SA.

Good used condition. A hard to find shoulder board.

From March 15, 1928, the ranks and the associated shoulder straps change in the Prussian police force. The sergeant in a regular position wears epaulettes made of green wool cords interwoven with aluminum threads. A 3 mm wide aluminum cord is sewn onto the middle of the woolen cords. After a total of four years of service as a sergeant, the security police officer receives a five-pointed star on his braided shoulders. After being promoted to senior sergeant, he wears a second star on his epaulettes.
