Excellent condition. Nice gold wash. Buntmetal. Working pin and catch. Last picture is a scan the other by camera. One in worse condition sold for 1950 euros on a forum some weeks ago.

Märkt 'Schwerin Berlin'

Utmärkt skick. Fin förgyllning. Buntmetall. Alla delar i fungerande skick. Sista bilden är scannad, de andra från kamera. En i sämre skick såldes på ett forum för ett par veckor sedan för 1950 euro.


Date Instituted: April 24th, 1941

Awarded To: Officers and men of the Kriegsmarine for service on Auxiliary Cruisers or the supply ships that supported them.

Required Qualifications: Individual made a long-distance voyage, or
Individual was wounded on a voyage, or For outstanding leadership on a voyage

First Awarded: Currently unknown

Number Awarded: Currently unknown, although it is likely that only a few hundred were awarded.

Grades/Variations:This badge was awarded almost exclusively in one version, the version shown, although a higher grade was issued consisting of the same design but with a set of 15 diamonds in the branches of the swastika at the top in place of the normal swastika. Only two, possibly three such examples were awarded.

Method of Wear: Worn on the lower part of the left brest pocket of the naval service tunic, underneath the Iron Cross Ist Class if awarded, or equivalent grade award.
